McLean Girls Rally, Fall to Stone Bridge, 59-55, in OT

McLean High School’s girls varsity basketball team fell in overtime, 59-55, to Stone Bridge last Friday night.

Stone Bridge held a narrow lead, 26-23, at halftime, but the McLean Highlanders managed to tie the game, 49-49, by end of regulation.

Junior guard Andie Romness lead the Highlanders with 21 points while senior Patricia Pascoe scored 12, senior Melissa Wilson, 10, junior Kristina Bettner, six, senior Caitlin Baker, four, and junior Erin Mundy, two.

Tonight, Jan. 19, McLean takes on Fairfax High in an away game, and then faces Langley at home this Friday.
