F.C. Council Plans Restaurant Fee Hike At Monday’s Council Meeting

Increased fees for resubmission of plans and re-inspection and reinstatements of non-compliant restaurants in the City of Falls Church will be voted on by the F.C. City Council at its meeting this Monday, Nov. 23. According to City officials, the proposed new fee structure was reviewed by the National Restaurant Association with no negative comments forthcoming. Fairfax County instituted similar new fees in September.

To date, no establishments in F.C. have had closures or permit suspensions, such that none will be affected by the fee changes at this time. More information on Monday’s proposed action is available from Pam Doran, director of Housing and Human Services,  at 703-248-5123.
