McLean H.S. Holds Powder Puff Game

A Powder Puff game at McLean High School will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 11 from 7 – 9 p.m. Everyone is invited to come and watch the juniors and seniors battle it out on the football field (1633 Davidson Rd., McLean).

Bishop O’Connell Hosts Open House

Kent Gardens Celebrates Fall Fun Fête

On Saturday, Nov. 7, Kent Gardens Elementary School (1717 Melbourne Drive, McLean) will hold the Fall Fun Fête, rain or shine, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Highlights will include a moon bounce and slide, spin art, field games and game booths.

Pre-sale wristbands cost $20 each or $15 each for three or more. Wristbands bought at the door will cost $25 each and $20 each for three or more. Food vendors will be accepting cash. For more information, call 703-394-5600 or visit www.kentgardenspta.com.

Trinity School Offers Information Night

The Trinity School at Meadow View invites parents to visit Headmaster Andrew Zwerneman, Director of Admissions Kay Yohe and Director of Community Relations Gina Massa on Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 7:30 p.m.

The night will also give parents the opportunity to learn about Meadow View’s courses, educational philosophy and Christian culture. The event will take place at the school (2849 Meadow View Rd., Falls Church). For more information, call 703-876-1920.

McLean High Recognizes Senior Athletes

The seniors of the 2009 McLean Highlander Football Program and their parents will be recognized during a pre-game ceremony on Friday, Nov. 6 at McLean High School (1633 Davidson Rd., McLean).

All Highlander fans are asked to arrive at 7:20 p.m. to support and give thanks to the seniors who will be participating in the final regular-season football game against the Langley Saxons. For more information, call 703-714-5700.
