City of F.C. Crime Report: October 13 – 19, 2009

Larceny from Vehicle, 700 blk Hillwood Ave, between 04:00 PM, October 13 and 05:30 AM on October 14 an in-dash radio was taken from a locked vehicle.

Larceny – All Other Larceny, 200 blk of S Virginia Ave, sometime between October 9 and October 13 a hose, sprinkler and timer were taken from outside a residence.

Tampering with Auto, 300 blk Gundry Dr, sometime during the prior week an attempt was made to enter a locked vehicle. Nothing was taken from the vehicle and it appeared entrance was not gained.

Motor Vehicle Theft, 100 blk W Broad St, between 01:00 AM and noon on October 14 a motorcycle was taken. Warrants have been issued for the two suspects.

Larceny – Shoplifting, 804 S Washington St (7-11), October 15, 04:15 AM, a male, 22, of no fixed address was arrested for shoplifting.

Drunk in Public, 100 blk N Washington St, October 17, 02:21 AM, a male, 22, of Falls Church was arrested for being drunk in public.

Driving Under the Influence and Leaving the Scene of an Accident, 100 blk N Washington St., October 17, 08:51 PM, a male, 50, of Arlington was arrested for driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident.

Drunk in Public, 200 blk Midvale St, October 18, 03:50 AM, a male, 32, of Chino Hills, CA was arrested for being drunk in public.

Death Investigation, 7124 Leesburg Pike (George Mason High School), October 18, 08:34 AM, responding to reports of an unconscious man in the roadway, an identified white male, 55, of no fixed address, was found unresponsive and medics were unable to revive him.

Drunk in Public, 400 blk W Annandale Rd, October 18, 01:39 PM, a female, 31, of Silver Spring, MD and a female, 28, of Falls Church were arrested for being drunk in public.

Driving under the Influence, West Broad St/N Lee, October 18, 04:01 PM a male, 34, of Greenbelt, MD was arrested for driving under the influence.

Larceny – Theft from Motor Vehicle, 1230 W Broad St (Giant Food), October 18, 08:44 PM, as the victim was loading groceries into her car a man opened the opposite door and stole her purse.

Drunk in Public, 300 W Broad St., October 19, 06:58 PM, a male, 47, of Falls Church was arrested for being drunk in public.
