GEORGE MASON HIGH SCHOOL shone the spotlight on several athletic legends at the school’s Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony last Saturday night. The event, held in the Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School gymnasium, honored four athletes who attended in person and the entire 1998 state champion girls basketball team. Two athletes, Kenneth Shutts (Class of ’57) and Colleen Winzeler (Class of ’00) were unable to attend. Clockwise from the top left are: the 1998 girls basketball team, Tim McCabe (Class of ’97), Kate Jackson (Class of ’00), Steve Clinton (Class of ’80) and Ben Griffin (Class of ’02).
