Toward Tax Reform: Recommendations for President Obama’s Task Force has been published and is now available from Falls Church-based Tax Analysts.

Ireland’s Four Provinces, Moe’s Southwest Grill, Robeks and Cafe Nessma are joining Applebees, Argia’s, Clare & Don’s Beach Shack, Dogwood Tavern, Hoang’s Grill & Sushi Bar, Ledo Pizza, Open Kitchen Bistro and Trader Joe’s at Taste of Falls Church taking place along with the Falls Church Fall Festival on Saturday, Sept. 12. Participating restaurants will be offering tastings in the parking lot area between Falls Church City Hall and the Community Center. Business leaders interested in seeking advice and feedback from fellow business leaders may be interested in attending a luncheon co-hosted by the Falls Church Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Merrifield Business Association from 11:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15 at the Italian Café (7161 Lee Hwy., Falls Church). The event will provide business leaders with the opportunity to share ideas and discuss challenges with other local business leaders. The event is $27 for Chamber members and $32 for non-members. The Vietnamese-American National Chamber of Commerce, VietAmCham, will be holding its Inaugural Reception on Tuesday, Sept. 15 in the F. Scott Fitzgerald Ballroom of the Westin Arlington Gateway in Arlington. Honorary co-chairs include the three highest Vietnamese-American elected officials from both parties, Congressman Joseph Anh Cao (LA – R), Assemblyman Van Tran (CA – R), and State Representative Hubert Vo (TX – D). Statistically, the majority of Vietnamese Americans are business owners or independent entrepreneurs accounting for more than $25 billion annually. Quang X.
