Man Struck & Killed by Train at West Falls Church Metro

A man was struck and killed by a Metro train as it pulled into the West Falls Church station just after 11 a.m. today.

Reports indicate the man, identified as Sangjin Lee, 45, of Arlington, jumped to the tracks as the train, a six car train heading towards New Carrollton, was approaching the station at 11:18 a.m. Wednesday.

This accident comes just three days after maintenance worker Michael Nash was struck and killed between the Dunn Loring/Merrifield and Vienna/Fairfax GMU Metro stations.
