City of Falls Church Mayor Robin Gardner confirmed to the News-Press tonight that a letter from Virginia Governor Tim Kaine endorsing the City’s unsolicited bid for $25 million in federal stimulus money to convert the City into a “green learning laboratory” was received today in time to be included in the bid, which will be forwarded to the U.S. Depertment of Energy tomorrow.
