Robbery, Dogwood Tavern, 132 W Broad St., December 12, 11:43 p.m., unknown person(s) approached victim (while victim was getting inside the vehicle), stating he had a weapon and demanded the victim to give him all the money. A struggle took place between the victim and the suspect; the victim kicked the suspect in the face, and then pepper sprayed/mace him. The victim was able to scare the suspect off by the continuous honking of the car horn. The suspect fled the area with the victim’s purse. The victim was transported to Arlington Hospital to be treated for exposure to mace/pepper spray.
