The children of Falls Church’s Dulin Cooperative Preschool were in a high-pressure situation last week, when firefighters from the Falls Church Fire Department paid a visit to the preschool.

Falls Church’s finest raised the ladder, gave tours of the engine, and demonstrated the hose — with each child getting a turn directing the spray. Best of all, the firefighters showed the preschoolers their fire gear and uniforms, so the children would not be frightened of their helpers in the event of an emergency. (Photot: Diane Seroskie)
