Statesmen Send-Off for G.C. Marshall Students

THE GEORGE C. MARSHALL HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION ceremony took place on Friday, June 13, as graduating seniors cheered, posed and even shed a few tears before sending their Statesmen caps and tassels into the air at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C. Recognized at the ceremony was Ata Mehran-Nejad, who lost his life last October after being struck by a car while trying to cross the Dulles Toll Road in Vienna, Va. Mehran-Nejad was set to graduate this year with his fellow Statesmen, but was still honored in memory on this year’s list of graduating seniors at George C. Marshall.
