Biggest Turnout Yet for F.C

 ESTIMATED AS THE LARGEST turnout yet for a New Year’s Eve “Watch Night” fete in downtown Falls Church Monday, mobs of happy children and adults, alike, partook of a wide array of games and activities, or listened to good music, as the onset of 2008 approached. When midnight came, a large contingent was on hand to witness the lowering of Falls Church’s historic star that adorned its water tower every year until the water tower came down in 1979.
