“Fermenting Revolution: How to Drink Beer & Save the World” Book Discussion, Signing & Beer Tasting, December 2, 3-5 p.m. at Shirlington Public Library and Busboys & Poets

Deep down inside, I knew all that time spent outside of the classroom and inside the bar at college was beneficial to myself and the world. And thanks to Christopher Mark O’Brien and his new book, I now have the proof. In “Fermenting the Revolution: How to Drink Beer and Save the World,” O’Brien touts the wonderfulness and life changing power of beer. Lucky for you, and the world, he’s going to be sharing his book and his love for the brew this Sunday at the Shirlington Public Library. And, just when you think it couldn’t get any better, following the book discussion, there will be a book signing and beer tasting across the street at Busboys and Poets where you can get a head start on saving the world, one cold, frothy, delicious brewski at a time.
