It’s important to make this weekend last as long as possible, as it marks the unofficial end of summer and the beginning of the hustle and bustle. Thankfully, there’s gonna be an onslaught of cookouts and barbecues this weekend, so make sure you secure an invite to one. Thingstododc.com has got an open invitation to their Giant Labor Day Weekend Summer Barbecue on Saturday. The cookout, held at Cadrerock Pavilion in Great Falls, Md., will be stocked with hamburgers, hot dogs, soda, beer and more. There will be games to play too, but I suggest taking a pass, as you’ll need your energy once Tuesday rolls around. Tickets are $25 and need to be purchased prior to the event, so make sure to get them by Friday.
