Jody’s Jam of the Week

Giant Labor Day Weekend Summer Barbecue September 1, Cadrerock Pavilion, Great Falls Md.

It’s important to make this weekend last as long as possible, as it marks the unofficial end of summer and the beginning of the hustle and bustle. Thankfully, there’s gonna be an onslaught of cookouts and barbecues this weekend, so make sure you secure an invite to one. If you do find yourself without a place to go, you don’t have to be that lonely guy peering over the fence at neighbors while wiping the drool from his mouth. Thingstododc.com has got an open invitation to their Giant Labor Day Weekend Summer Barbecue on Saturday. The cookout, held at Cadrerock Pavilion in Great Falls, Md., will be stocked with hamburgers, hot dogs, soda, beer and more. There will be games to play too, but I suggest taking a pass, as you’ll need your energy once Tuesday rolls around. Tickets are $25 and need to be purchased prior to the event, so make sure to get them by Friday.
