Jody’s Jam of the Week

Washington, D.C. Summer Restaurant Week, August 6 – 12

Aww yeah, this Monday marks the beginning of one of my favorite weeks of the year. The summer edition of DC’s Restaurant Week is here running August 6 -12 at the area’s best spots to eat. For those unaware of gastronomical awesomeness that is Restaurant Week, it’s when a plethora (over 150 this time around) D.C., Virginia and Maryland restaurants offer up special 3-course menus for the delightful price of $20.07 for lunch and $30.07 for dinner. Just perusing the list of participating spots is like flipping through Zagat’s Guide to D.C. Go ahead, pick a cuisine. You’ve got Italian, French, seafood, sushi, fondue, steak houses, tapas bars, Mexican, Indian, Thai, Chinese and just about any other type of food you can think of. If you haven’t experienced some of D.C.’s finer eateries, give it a shot this week, your wallet will thank you.
