DC Area Burger Crawl for National Beef Month

Meat eaters rejoice, May is National Beef Month. I know, it’s not like anyone needs a reason to pass on the fruits and veggies and dive headfirst into meaty goodness, but now you can do it with a little more vigor. After all, it’s patriotic (or something like that). Anyway, what better way to celebrate the joys of meat month than with a big, fat, juicy, beefy burger? Right, there is no better way. So, to get everything out of this month that you should, I strongly recommend going on a DC Area Burger Crawl. Taking recommendations from AOL Cityguide’s Best Burgers of DC, that would include hitting up Five Guys, Hamburger Hamlet, Houston’s, Whitlow’s on Wilson, Falls Church’s own Elevation Burger, the Billy Goat Tavern & Grill, Chef Geoff’s, Dakota Cowgirl and Palena. It’s May 10. That’s nine burgers in three weeks. Piece of cake. Though, if you’re really dedicated, you could polish them all off this weekend. But, be warned, National Pork Month is only five months away.
