Falls Church Resident Susan Diane Kaye Passes Away

Susan Diane Kaye of Falls Church, Va. passed away on Sunday May 6, 2007 at Virginia Hospital Center. Susan Kaye, beloved wife of Ron Kaye and devoted mother of Alina and Hunter Kaye, was born on April 23, 1957, in Washington, D.C. the only daughter and middle child born to Joan McCleese and Richard Rock.

She worked for the Fairfax County Public schools from the early 1980s, as a Psychologist, Eligibly Specialist, Team Leader, coordinator of Special Education and finally the coordinator of preschool programs at Devonshire Center. Those who know her well say that she was absolutely dedicated to the children she served.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 11, 2007 at 1pm, at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fairfax, 2709 Hunter Mills Road in Oakton, VA. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to The Stem Cell Research Foundation, www.stemcellresearchfoundation.org or the Myeloproliferative Disease Research Fund at www.mpdhopkins.org.
