Bowie Baysox “Office Space” Night, Monday, May 7 in Bowie, MD

There’s a good chance that once the weekend is over, you’re not too excited about heading back to the j-o-b. But, this week, you’ll actually have something to look forward to once Monday rolls around. Just suck it up and plow through your 9-5 and then jump in your car and head east to Bowie, Maryland. where the Bowie Baysox are offering relief for a “case of the Mondays.” Inspired by the classic “Office Space,” the Baysox will be featuring promotions based on the movie including a “flair” contest which will award those adorned with the most pieces. And what better way to relieve your workplace frustration than by savagely beating a piece of office equipment? Outside the stadium, you’ll be able to “Smash Technology for Charity” where for $1, you can take a baseball bat to a lineup of electric nemeses including fax machines, printers and scanners. Proceeds from the event will go the Families of Virginia Tech victims.
