Washington Wizards vs. Cleveland Cavs, Saturday and Monday, April 28 and 30, Verizon Center.

It’s the first round of the NBA playoffs for the Wizards, making it to the post-season for the third straight year after decades of drought. The bad news, of course, is that the team’s two All-Star players, Caron Butler and Gilbert Arenas, are out, though Butler may try to be ready by Saturday. Still, these games might mark the last we’ll see of our ‘Zards this season. But rather than stay away because they might not win, I say show them some love, come and shout your lungs out. Besides, you’ll get to see the best floppy head in the NBA (now that Dirk and Luke have clipped their locks) in the Cavs’ Brazilian beast, Anderson Varejao. And yeah, there’s also some guy named LeBron that they have, too. Note: Don’t forget Saturday’s game starts at 5:30 p.m.
