2007 Chocolate Lovers Festival, February 2 – 3 in Old Town Fairfax

Chocolate Fest: Round 2. I hope you’ve rested from your indulgence at the chocolate and wine festival from two weeks ago because this weekend’s bash, the 2007 Chocolate Lovers Festival in the City of Fairfax, is destined to be gluttonous gala. The two-day event, going on annually since 1992, kicks off Saturday morning with the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast and continues with a full schedule of activities through Sunday. Sixteen area vendors will be showing off and selling a variety of cakes, candies, brownies, fudge, ice cream and other sweets, while crafts shows, bake sales, pottery demonstrations and plenty more will be taking place as well. Each year, the festival chooses a charitable organization to donate proceeds raised during the festival and this year, it will be The Women’s Center in Vienna.
