Edward Albee’s “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?,” Eisenhower Theatre at the Kennedy Center, through Jan. 28.

Two of my favorite lines in all cinema were uttered by Elizabeth Taylor in the film version of this Albee play that was released too long ago to admit. “What a dump!” was one, said with such resigned emphasis. I’ve had many an opportunity to quote that one directly over the years. Directed by Anthony Page, tickets for the production are $25 through $78 and can be ordered on line at www.kennedy-center.org.
