“Bobby,” Showing at the DuPont 5 in Downtown D.C.

For anyone who recalls the events of June 4, 1968, and even for those who don’t, this is one of the most powerful movies you will ever see. A star-studded cast from top to bottom, it’s as if all of Hollywood poured itself into this epochal production. It’s the first film I’ve ever seen where not a single person in the theatre got up to leave when it was over. Nominated for a Golden Globe as best dramatic film. By the way, everything showing at this 19th Street cinema venue is worth seeing, including “The Good Shepherd,” “The History of Boys,” “Babel,” and “Little Miss Sunshine.” Do they let you buy one ticket and hop around all day?
