Larceny, Shoplifting, Rite Aid, 157 Hillwood Ave., October 4, 12:49 p.m., unknown person(s) stole five packs of Gillette Razors from the establishment. The suspect is described as a B/M approximately 5`5” with a heavy build. He was wearing a white t-shirt and jeans.
Larceny from Building, 100 blk. W. Annandale Rd., October 5, 6:31 p.m., unknown person(s) removed items from a locked safe.
Assault-Intimidation, 7-11, 804 S. Washington St., October 6, 1:40 p.m., police arrested a male juvenile for assault, attempted larceny, and carrying a concealed weapon.
Graffiti/Destruction of Property, 7-11, 110 N. West St., October 7, 3:10 p.m., unknown person(s) wrote graffiti on the exterior wall closest to the pay phone and the towel dispenser located in the bathroom of the establishment.
Motor Vehicle Theft, 100 blk. S. Washington St., October 7, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:56 p.m., unknown person(s) stole a white 2001 Ford Econoline Van. The owner of the vehicle observed the vehicle being driven by an unknown person. The vehicle owner confronted the suspect at a traffic light. The suspect exited the vehicle on the passenger side and fled on foot. The vehicle owner chased the suspect on foot. The suspect pulled out a knife on the vehicle owner. The vehicle owner terminated the foot pursuit and the suspect fled. The suspect is described as a white male in his 40`s. He had bushy blonde hair, light colored eyes possibly green, and no facial hair. He was approximately 5` 9" 150-160 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans, a light green checked jacket with a white T-shirt under it, and carrying a black backpack. No one was injured.
Destruction of Property, 400 blk. Rollins St./S. Virginia Ave., October 8, between 3:00 a.m. and 10:07 a.m., unknown person(s) broke the windshield, punctured the drivers side front tire and scratched the paint on the drivers side and passengers side fender, doors, and quarter panel on a tan 1998 Mitsubishi Montero.
Graffiti/Destruction of Property, Hunan Café, 126 W. Broad St., between October 7, 11:00 p.m. and October 8, 11:00 a.m., unknown person(s) spray-painted graffiti on the wall of the establishment.
Motor Vehicle Theft, 900 blk. Ellison St., October 8, 8:45 p.m., unknown person(s) stole a black Tomos LX moped, that was secured with a cable lock to a utility pole. The moped was recovered later that evening.
Robbery, Saigon Supermarket, 6795 Wilson Blvd., Suite #1, October 9, 5:39 p.m., police arrested a male, 24, of Sterling, VA for Robbery, Possession of Heroin and Possession of Paraphernalia. No one was injured.
