On Saturday, the Boys U13 team traveled to Springfield and jumped out to an early lead en route to a 5-0 win to bring their record to 3-3. Five players scored — Keenan Glahn, CT Tyeryar, Sean Cormany, Peter Kress and Austin Nooter. Goalie Nathaniel Schwarz anchored a stingy defense, limiting Springfield to only a few shots on goal. Falls Church midfielders controlled possession of the ball keeping pressure on Springfield’s defense throughout the game.
