With little else but pride and bragging rights on the line, the George Mason High School varsity boys basketball team failed to take advantage of an opportunity to head into 2009 on a winning note, as it was embarrassed by cross-town rival Falls Church High School, 43-31 on Tuesday morning in the seventh place game of the Chantilly Pohanka Classic.
