Friday, June 28 — The ample new free parking that proprietors of the popular Clare and Don’s Beach Shack on N. Washington have been patiently waiting for as the massive Broad and Washington project is built is now ready, but still won’t become available for at least another week, pending inspection approvals from the City, Dave Tax of the restaurant has reported.
The entrance to the new parking lot is on Park Place adjacent to the restaurant and has been anticipated for more than a year as the construction has severely curtailed access to the iconic Falls Church eaterie. Tax said City officials told him of the need for the delay.
