Update: City Hall, Library Closed, Washington St. Reopened After Overnight Accident Knocked Out Power

An overnight vehicle accident resulted in hundreds of power outages in the City of Falls Church last night.

City Hall, Mary Riley Styles Public Library, and Gage House are closed today.

Government employees who work in those buildings should telework if possible. Speak with your supervisor if you have questions.

Southbound N. Washington Street (Rt. 29) was closed from Columbia Street to Park Avenue, but is now reopened.

Power has been restored. Dominion had reported hundreds of accounts without power earlier in the day.
