Sunday, Dec. 17 — The News-Press is sad to report the passing of Cragg Hines, a Northern Virginia legend, today at age 78. He was the White House correspondent for the Houston Chronicle for many years, retiring in 2007 to proceed to an active retirement of support for Arlington Democrats.
