The Virginia Department of Education is participating in the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching. The program recognizes science, technology, engineering, math and computer science teachers in grades K-12. There are many worthy candidates in Falls Church City Public Schools, so parents, students and staff are instructed to nominate one by Friday, March 1 and follow up before May 1 with the completed packet.
Application packets are due Wednesday, May 1.
