Farmer’s Market Hosts Children’s Program

The Junior League of Northern Virginia has premiered a special program at the Falls Church City’s weekly farmers market. Every third Saturday of the month, the Junior League will help children learn more about where their food comes from and how eating locally-grown food contributes to a healthy lifestyle. Children will explore these concepts through engaging activities such as market tours and scavenger hunts, physical activity, and healthy snack preparation.

The program started last month and will run through next May.
