Nighttime Road Work on Rt. 7 in May

Falls Church City Manager Wyatt Shields told the City Council Monday that major interruptions of travel along W. Broad St. (Route 7) from West. St. to Washington St., and on E. Broad St. from Washington St. to Roosevelt St. will begin this week and last a month as the City of Falls Church Public Works Department is undertaking a repaving of the entire stretch.

The work will take place at night, from 9 p.m. – 5 a.m., commencing this Sunday, May 7 and lasting until May 28.

All streets will remain open to traffic and residents and businesses will have access to driveways and entrances during this time period.
