Woman Abducted and Sexually Assaulted in Falls Church

A 50-year-old woman was abducted and sexually assaulted in Falls Church area of Fairfax County sometimes between 11 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22 and 2 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23, according to a press release from the Fairfax County Police Department. Detectives from the department’s Major Crimes Division are investigating the incident.

The investigation has determined that the woman went to a restaurant in the 5800 block of Columbia Pike in Falls Church. She met two men and the three left together in a mini-van similar to an older Honda Odyssey, headed toward Arlington.

While in the van, both suspects sexually assaulted the victim. During the assault, a handgun was displayed. The suspects took the victim’s phone and forced her out of the car somewhere along route 50 near South Manchester Street. She flagged down a passerby, who called police.

The victim was taken to a local hospital where she was medically evaluated and released late Sunday afternoon. The suspects were described as Hispanic; one was described as being around 30 years old, 5 feet 2 – 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a slim build. The other suspect was described as being in his early 20s, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, with an athletic build.
