Inaugural Pints 4 Paws Beer Festival Slated for Oct. 16

The Animal Welfare League of Arlington is hosting its first-ever Pints 4 Paws Festival on Sunday, Oct. 16 from 1 – 5 p.m. at Courthouse Plaza Parking Lot, located at the corner of Courthouse Road and N. 15 St., Arlington.

The festival will feature unlimited craft beer tastings from New District Brewing Company, Old Ox Brewing Company, Parkway Brewing Company, Ballast Point Brewing Company, Firestone Walker Brewing Company, Green Flash Brewing Company and Crispin Cider Company. There will also be food from Rockland’s BBQ, The Big Cheese, Union Dog and Mac’s Donuts.

DJ Ruben Najera and local band Nightsong are performing at the event. There will also be games like bocce ball and corn-hole. Attendees can also have their pup’s portrait taken at a photo booth and enter them in the Doggie Costume Contest, which will be hosted by the Imperial Court of Washington D.C.

Tickets start at $35 for advance purchase ($40 day of the event) and include unlimited tastings and a tasting glass. VIP tickets are $50 and include unlimited tastings, a tasting glass, an event T-shirt and VIP ‘express’ entrance.

Tickets for non-drinkers and designated drivers are available for $10 and kids under age 12 are free. The event will be held rain or shine. For more information, visit awla.org.
