McAuliffe in Annandale for Rally Saturday

On October 8, the Coalition for an Inclusive America, a diverse group of organizations, is hosting a rally to support Secretary Hillary Clinton and Senator Tim Kaine in the upcoming election. Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe and other national and local luminaries will participate in the rally, which is co-chaired by Shekar Narasimhan, AAPI Victory Fund Chair and Terry Lierman, former Maryland Democratic Party State Chair, and will feature entertainment and voter registration opportunities, as well as in-language presentation materials. Coalition for an Inclusive America, AAA Fund, AAPI Victory Fund, African-American Democratic Club of Montgomery County, American Muslims for Hillary, Arab American Democratic Caucus of Virginia, Bangladeshi Americans for Clinton-Kaine, CASA in Action, Coalition of Asian Pacific American Democrats of Maryland, Desis for Progress, Gender Rights Maryland, Indian Americans for Hillary Clinton, Italian American Democratic Leadership, Korean American Leadership Council, National Jewish Democratic Council, NJDC Women’s Leadership Network, South Asians for Hillary,Virginia LGBT Democrats, Virginia Women for Hillary and the Women’s National Democratic Club are among the sponsors and participants.

It will be held Saturday, October 8, with doors opening at 11:00 a.m. and the rally and entertainment will be from 11:30 am – 1:30 p.m. at the Ernst Community Center of the Northern Virginia Community College, 8333 Little River Turnpike, Annandale.
