Fairfax Co. Police Investigating Shots Fired in F.C. on August 28

Detectives with the Fairfax County Police Department are investigating a report of a bullet that struck a vehicle in the 2200 block of Beacon Lane in Falls Church on Sunday, Aug. 28 at around 3:52 a.m., according to a press release from the department.

According to the person who called in the report, a vehicle drove down the street and shot the caller’s vehicle which was unoccupied. After officers responded, they found that the caller’s residence was also struck by a bullet.

While canvasing the area, officers discovered four more vehicles that had been struck by bullets. None of the vehicles were occupied and there were no reported injuries. Detectives from the McLean District Station are actively investigating the incident. There is no suspect information at this time.
