Sponsors, Volunteers Sought for Annual ‘Run for the Schools’

The Falls Church Education Foundation is seeking sponsors, volunteers and participants for its Run for the Schools, its annual 5K run and 1K walk scheduled for Sunday, September 18 at 8 a.m. The USATF-certified course, which winds through Falls Church City, benefits the nonprofit created in 2004 to provide supplemental funds to enhance the educational experience of Falls Church City Public School students.

In 2015, FCEF awarded more than $260,000 in funds to Falls Church City students and staff. For more information, visit www.fcedf.org.
