F.C. Arts Grant Solicitations Sought

The Little City C.A.T.C.H. Foundation Inc. announced this week that it is now accepting applications from eligible non-profit organizations that support the arts, culture, theater and history based within the City of Falls Church. The application deadline is August 15 and funds must be used before May 15, 2017. Applications can be submitted for project grants or operations support grants. Applicants may request up to $5,000 in project grants with a total of up to $25,000 available. Applicants may request any amount in operations grants with a total of $25,000 available. Funds are provided by the City; some matching funds are provided by the Virginia Commission for the Arts.

Past grant projects include sound equipment for the Village Preservation and Improvement Society to use for the Concerts in the Park series, support for creating original music for plays at Creative Cauldron and partial funding for two historic trail markers, managed by Historic Falls Church, Inc.
