In the latest City of Falls Church crime report, there were two instances of thefts at area businesses including shoplifting at the FedEx Store on W. Broad and a petit larceny at The State Theatre. In other crime, a musical instrument was stolen from a vehicle on W. George Mason Rd., someone tries to pry open the window of a home on E. Broad and two cell phone were stolen from a building on W. Broad.

Larceny from Vehicle, 100 block W. George Mason Rd. On June 28, police received a report of musical instrument stolen from a vehicle sometime after June 24.
Destruction of Property, 800 block E. Broad St. On June 28, police received a report that an unknown suspects attempted to pry a window of a residence sometime after June 1.
Public Drunkenness, 100 block W. Broad St. On June 28, a male, 55, of Arlington, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.
Public Drunkenness, 600 block S. Washington St. On June 28, a male, 26, of Falls Church, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.
Shoplifting, 348 W. Broad St. (FedEx Store) On June 29, police received a report that merchandise was stolen from the store by unknown patrons.
Larceny from Building, 300 block W. Broad St. On June 29, two cell phones were reported stolen.
Driving Under the Influence, 6600 block Wilson Blvd. On July 2, a female, 63, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
Larceny, 220 N. Washington St. (The State Theater) On July 3, a female, 30, of Ashburn, was arrested and released on summons for Petit Larceny.
