2 Falls Church Residents Win National Merit Scholarships

Two Falls Church residents were announced as recipients of National Merit Scholarships on Wednesday, June 1. Chantal Iosso, a graduating senior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, received the National Merit Washington and Lee University Scholarship. Her probable career field, according to the National Merit Corporation, is economics.

John H. Balch, a graduating senior at George C. Marshall High School, received the National Merit University of Chicago Scholarship.
