1908 Playground Project Rescheduled for June 4

The Chi Beta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc.’s 2nd Annual 1908 Playground Project, originally scheduled for Saturday, May 21, has been rescheduled for Saturday, June 4 due to inclement weather.

The event, an effort to clean up and restore Big Chimneys Park at 212 W. Annandale Road, will take place at the same time, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Event organizers ask that those who registered for the original event register again.

Park restoration activities will include cleaning playground equipment and applying leaf mulch. Event organizers ask that those who participate wear gardening attire. Tools, gloves and supplies and water and snacks will be provided. For more information or to register for the event, visit chibetaomega-aka.com.
