One More Page Books Announces May Schedule

One More Page Books recently announced its schedule of May events, which includes a book reading by one of the News-Press‘ own, a book launch party and an event that’s part of the Second Annual She Writes Press Spring Book Tour.

Falls Church News-Press Editor-in-Chief and Publisher Nicholas F. Benton will read from his bestselling book Extraordinary Hearts: Reclaiming Gay Sensibility’s Role in the Progress of Civilization on Thursday, May 5 at 7 p.m. The next day the store will host a launch party for Young Adult author Jessica Spotswood and her new release Wild Swans. The party starts at 7 p.m.

On Wednesday, May 11 at 7 p.m. William Geroux will share from Mathews Men: Seven Brothers and the War Against Hilter’s U-Boats. Ellen Prentiss Campbell will discuss her debut novel, The Bowl with Gold Seams, on Saturday, May 14 at 3 p.m. The book is set in 1945 at Pennsylvania’s Bedford Springs Hotel while it served as a detainment center.

Then, on Friday, May 20 at 7 p.m. the Second Annual She Writes Press Spring Book Tour will bring two authors, Jill McCroskey Coupe and Melissa Rea, to One More Page Books. Finally, on Thursday, May 26 at 7 p.m. Peter J. Daly and John F. Myslinski will discuss and sign Strange Gods: A Novel about Faith, Murder, Sin and Redemption.
