Falls Church GOP Chair Ken Feltman Retires March 17

Ken Feltman of Hillwood Avenue will retire this month after four years as chair of the Falls Church City Republican Committee. Members of the FCCRC will elect a new chairman at the annual mass membership meeting tonight, March 17, at 7:30 p.m. at the American Legion, 400 N. Oak Street.

The committee will also choose delegates to the 8th Congressional District Convention, that will be be held Saturday, May 7, at Kenmore Middle School in Arlington and delegates to the Republican State Convention in Harrisonburg on Friday and Saturday, April 29-30. The District Convention elects the Eighth District Chairman, the Eighth Congressional District Republican candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives, three members of the State Central Committee, three delegates to the Republican National Convention in Cleveland on July 18, and a GOP member of the Electoral College. The State Convention elects the State GOP Chairman, a national committeeman and committeewoman to represent Virginia on the Republican National Committee, 13 delegates and alternates to the Republican National Convention and two presidential electors.

To vote or be a candidate, a Republican voter must be a resident of Falls Church City and a member of the Falls Church GOP Committee.
