Plot Against Hunger Kicks Off at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church

The Arlington Food Assistance Center’s annual Spring Garden Kickoff for its Plot Against Hunger program will be held at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 19.

The event will feature talks and demonstrations on basic gardening techniques, the kickoff will provide information and free seeds for those interested in starting a Plot Against Hunger to produce fresh produce for the Arlington Food Assistance Center, located at 2708 S. Nelson St., Arlington.

The event is free and open to the public, but the Arlington Food Assistance Center asks that prospective attendees RSVP at plotagainsthunger@afac.org. For more information about Plot Against Hunger, visit afac.org/plot-against-hunger.
