Mad Fox, The Local Market Host Running Clubs in F.C.
Two Falls Church businesses – a restaurant and a grocery store – are helping customers work off some of the food they’ve been selling them. Mad Fox Brewing Company and The Local Market are both hosting free “running clubs” on Wednesdays.
The Mad Fox Run Club is open to all runners and walkers starting at 6:30 p.m. weekly and follows a course of three or five miles. Afterwards, runners are encouraged to stay for drinks and snacks inside.
The Local Market Runners take off from the store at 9 a.m. Wednesday mornings on trails usually 3 to 4 miles. Complimentary coffee is available after the run.
More information on The Local Market Runners can be found at the store at 246 W. Broad Street, by calling 703-536-6123 or emailing tamara@TheLocalMarket.me.
Those interested in the Mad Fox Run Club can stop by the restaurant at 444 W. Broad Street or by emailing runclub@madfoxbrewing.com.
