
Voting is now open for finalists in the City of Falls Church’s vehicle decal contest to determine the next design for the City’s annual sticker. Voting will close next Friday, February 19 at 11:45 p.m.
According to a press release, a citizen panel decided on the final four designs that “best reflected the City community.” The final designs were selected from a group of 12 submitted by area high school students to the City of F.C. treasurer. Cash prizes will be awarded to the finalists with first place winning $750, second place winning $500, third winning $250 and fourth winning $150. Voting is open to all City of F.C. residents, employees including police, firefighters, library staff, government employees, teachers and other school employees. Voting can be made at fallschurchva.gov/decalcontest.
The winner of the decal contest will be announced at the City of Falls Church Council meeting on Monday, February 22.
