New Cauldron Musical ‘Hayes Recommended’

“Monsters of the Villa Diodati” opened to a full house last Saturday night and to critical acclaim. Broadway World hailed it “a must-see.” D.C. Metro Theater Arts hailed is as “mesmerizing” and and “irrefutable success.” Writers Matt Conner and Stephen Gregory Smith were applauded by D.C. Theatre Scene for their ability to “brave the dark and dusty spaces of the human soul and, no matter how twisted a tale, and imbue it with compassion to invoke sympathy.” Conner and Smith’s latest creation is now Helen Hayes Awards Recommended, following their three nominations for last year’s “Bold New Work,” “The Turn of the Screw” (Outstanding Directors, Outstanding Ensemble, and Outstanding Supporting Actor for Ethan Miller).
