Falls Church’s Creative Cauldron theater company has landed five nominations for Helen Hayes awards presented annually to the finest theater arts contributions in the Washington, D.C. metro area. The nominations announced in D.C. tonight were for Creative Cauldron’s productions of Once on an Island and The Turn of the Screw. Jade Jones was nominated for her role in Once on an Island, which was also nominated for best musical. For Turn of the Screw, Matt Conner and Stephen Gregory Smith were nominated for directors, the entire cast for best ensemble, and Ethan Miller for his role in the play.
