After the weekend’s historic snowstorm dumping more than two feet of snow on the area, Falls Church City Public Schools and day care announced that they will be closed both Monday, January 25 and Tuesday, January 26. In addition, a “no parking order” had been enforced on its campuses. Cars left at the schools this weekend will be towed at owner’s expense.

Also today, the F.C. Government announced it will be closed on Monday, January 25, including City Hall, the library, and in-person absentee voting with the Registrar’s office. Like on Sunday, the community center will be open for “free play” from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. but with no parking available. All Recreation and Parks classes and activities are cancelled.

Monday evening’s City Council meeting has also been cancelled.
