Arlington Philharmonic Hosts Screening of ‘Maestro’

The Arlington Philharmonic is hosting a screening of the new documentary “Maestro” at Rosslyn Spectrum Theater, located at 1611 N. Kent St., Arlington, on Thursday, Feb. 11 at 6 p.m. The documentary is about storied conductor Paavo Jarvi.

“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to offer an advance screening of this marvelous film to our community,” said Scott Wood, music director for the Arlington Philharmonic. “This exciting event is an unusual twist to the robust classical music scene in the greater D.C. area.”

An audience question and answer session with the film’s director and producer, David Donnelly, will follow the screening. Admission to the screening is $30 per person in advance and $40 at the door. 

The event will begin with live music and light fare, which will begin at 6 p.m., and then the film, which runs 81 minutes, will begin at 7 p.m. For more information, visit arlingtonphilharmonic.org.
