McLean Rotary Club Hosts Chocolate Festival on Jan. 31

The Rotary Club of McLean is hosting its 5th annual McLean Chocolate Festival at the McLean Community Center, located at 1234 Ingleside Ave., McLean, on Sunday, Jan. 31 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. According to an email at the Rotary Club of McLean, each the festival has grown in number and quality of vendors and in the number of festival attendees.

This year’s festival vendors include C&D Sweets, Dave’s Candy Kitchen, Fair Trade Winds, Fluffy Thoughts, Zinga! Yogurt  and many more. The admission fee is $2 and admission for kids six and under is free.

The event will feature a children’s game room with chocolate-themed games, performances on the festival stage by Ukulele Phil and the Hula Kids at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. and by accordion player Dave Lovins at 3:30 p.m. There will also be demonstrations of colonial America chocolate-making by American Heritage. All proceeds from the event will go to fund local charitable organiztions through the McLean Rotary Club Foundation.
